Dr. Carol Soloway graduated from New York University with a degree in English in 1967, following which she earned a Master’s degree in English from Queens College of the City of New York in 1971. She received her doctor of chiropractic from Los Angeles Chiropractic College in 1983.
Dr. Soloway operated her very busy private chiropractic practice from 1983 to 2016 at which point she turned it over to her son, also a chiropractor. While running her chiropractic practice, she worked for various medical legal review companies including Total Healthcare Management from 2004 to 2012. She also worked as a consultant to Beech Street from 1991 to 1998 where she developed their chiropractic treatment protocols and assisted with their URAC credentialing. She has been performing utilization reviews for RehabWest from 2005 to present.
Since 1988, she has been a Qualified Medical Evaluator working for numerous medical legal firms throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Currently, she devotes all of the time to her ten medical legal offices throughout southern California.
She has been a National Board of Chiropractic Examiner since 1998 and has been on the board of Academy of Forensic Chiropractic Consultants (AFFICC) from 1998 to 2016. She has lectured extensively on Rating of Permanent Disability to AFICC audiences and the California Applicant Attorney Association, Orange County as well as to employers to include Nordstroms.
She worked as an in-house consultant for State Compensation Insurance Fund from 1995 to 2015, and is uniquely qualified to render opinions on causation, apportionment, and future treatment.
