Wyndy Bailey, M.D.

Dr. Wyndy Bailey is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in diverse clinical settings, including veterans’ hospitals, forensic psychiatry units, and community mental health services. She earned her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Morehouse School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at Charles R. Drew University in Los Angeles, California.

Throughout her career, Dr. Bailey has developed expertise in medication-assisted treatments for substance use disorders, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She has provided care for patients with treatment-resistant depression and other complex mental health conditions, leveraging innovative treatments such as esketamine. Dr. Bailey has also excelled in telepsychiatry, adapting her practice to meet the evolving needs of patients.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bailey has contributed to education and mentorship. She served as an instructor at Morehouse School of Medicine’s STEAM program, where she inspired youth from underrepresented communities to pursue careers in medicine. Her research background includes projects on nanoparticle coatings and organic field-effect transistors, demonstrating her interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving.

Dr. Bailey is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and several honor societies, including Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Lambda Upsilon. Her dedication to excellence has been recognized with awards such as the Certificate of Stellar Academic Performance in Psychiatry and the Morehouse School of Medicine merit scholarship.

Dr. Bailey is committed to advancing mental health care through her clinical practice, research, and educational contributions. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where she continues to provide compassionate and evidence-based psychiatric care.
