Dr. Temre Uzuncan, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist (CA22056) with expertise in health psychology, behavioral medicine, and trauma-informed care. Since 2008, she has specialized in integrating psychology within primary care, providing clinical consultation, supervision, assessment, and psychotherapy for diverse and medically complex populations across the San Francisco Bay Area.

Dr. Uzuncan holds a prominent role as the Chief Psychologist and Director of the Integrated Health Psychology Training Program (IHPTP) at The Wright Institute, where she leads training programs for psychology interns and postdoctoral residents in culturally responsive mental health services. She also serves as clinical faculty at The Wright Institute, a doctoral program in clinical psychology based in Berkeley, California. Her work emphasizes the development of effective psychological interventions within primary care and medical residency programs, ensuring access to high-quality care for patients with complex health needs.

In her private practice, Dr. Uzuncan provides psychotherapy and coaching for a range of mental health conditions, including trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress-related health issues.
