Anthony M. Greco, PsyD

Dr. Anthony M. Greco is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California with extensive experience in psychological assessment, diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and complex case formulation across correctional, forensic, inpatient, community mental health, and private practice settings. His clinical expertise centers on severe mental illness, substance use disorders, co-occurring psychiatric conditions, trauma-related disorders, personality pathology, ADHD, and high-acuity presentations.

Dr. Greco has significant experience working with forensic and institutional populations, where he conducted comprehensive psychological evaluations, crisis assessments, and risk evaluations for individuals presenting with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. His work required close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatry, medical providers, custody staff, and case management personnel, contributing to diagnostic clarification, level-of-care determinations, and risk assessment.

Since 2017, Dr. Greco has maintained a private practice in Los Angeles, providing psychological assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. He specializes in complex and overlapping clinical presentations, particularly cases involving addiction and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. His background in addiction treatment and recovery-oriented frameworks informs his understanding of functional impairment, behavioral regulation, relapse vulnerability, and treatment compliance — domains frequently relevant in medico-legal and disability evaluations.

Dr. Greco earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2015 and his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the same institution in 2012. He completed post-graduate study in Somatic Psychology at Santa Barbara Graduate Institute (2009–2010) and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management, cum laude, from Pepperdine University in 2006.

He has served as a Guest Lecturer at Pepperdine University since 2011 and is the co-author of Recovery A to Z (2nd ed., 2012) and author of Meditations on Pain Recovery (2011).
