Dr. Artin Shakhbandaryan was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He completed his Undergrad at University of California, Riverside and attended Medical School at Western University of Health Sciences. He completed his Podiatry Residency at West Covina Medical Center and a limb salvage residency at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles. Dr. Shakhbandaryan is currently in private practice in Los Angeles and treats common foot and ankle problems, including foot pain, fungal nails, ingrown nails, bunions, corns, and heel pain. He also provides more specialized treatments, including foot and ankle surgery and diabetic foot care. Dr. Shakhbandaryan takes a conservative and patient-centered treatment approach. He recommends minimally invasive, holistic measures when possible but knows that certain conditions require integrative pain management or surgical intervention. He is passionate about enhancing his professional skills and regularly participates in continuing education.
Dr. Shakhbandaryan is a member of several professional organizations, including the Podiatric Research Club, Radiology for Foot and Ankle Specialists, the California Podiatric Medical Association, the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
