Cynthia Neal, Ph.D., Q.M.E., is a licensed psychologist in California and Michigan with decades of experience in forensic psychology. She has served as both an expert witness and as the Primary Treating Physician in medicolegal cases. She is a seasoned veteran in the diagnosis and successful treatment of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorders, and mild traumatic brain injury. Dr. Neal has extensive experience in the analysis of both the gross complexities and the subtle nuances involved in the assessment of industrial causation factors. She has worked closely with members of law enforcement, industrial, and municipal communities in large urban areas.
For many years, Dr. Neal has had an active medically based private practice, working in collaboration with internists, neurologists, pediatricians, and gynecologists to care for their patients.
Dr. Neal earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from Wayne State University. She completed internships at Henry Ford Hospital, Sinai Hospital in Detroit, and Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Since that time, she has continued an active role in the training and supervision of both psychological and medical interns and residents. She has also taught undergraduate and graduate class levels.
