Dr. Daman Uppal is a general dentist with broad clinical experience providing comprehensive dental care across a wide range of procedures, including restorative, surgical, endodontic, prosthodontic, and implant dentistry. His clinical background is complemented by substantial experience in practice operations, insurance systems, and administrative management, allowing him to function effectively in both patient care and practice workflow environments.

Since December 2024, Dr. Uppal has served as an Associate General Dentist at Azusa Total Dental Care in Azusa, California. In this role, he performs comprehensive examinations and delivers preventive and therapeutic dental services including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, restorative fillings, crown and bridge procedures, anterior and posterior root canal therapy, simple and surgical extractions, removable prosthodontics, and dental implant placement and restoration. His clinical practice emphasizes efficient diagnosis, thorough treatment planning, and patient-centered care.

In parallel, Dr. Uppal has worked as an Associate General Dentist at Long Beach Total Dental Care since July 2021. There, he has provided similar comprehensive general dentistry services within a busy clinical setting, managing a diverse patient population and maintaining high procedural volume. His experience in both PPO and Medi-Cal environments has strengthened his understanding of insurance verification, coding, billing, and fee schedule negotiation, as well as staff coordination and scheduling.

During his dental education, Dr. Uppal served as a Student Dentist at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry from 2017 to 2021, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in operative and restorative dentistry, esthetic procedures, fixed and removable prosthodontics, periodontal care, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and endodontics. Concurrently, he participated as a Student Researcher in the school’s radiology department, conducting research on digital imaging filters and their effectiveness in detecting interproximal caries through analysis of clinical case samples.

Dr. Uppal earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from La Sierra University. He maintains an active dental license, DEA registration, and CPR certification. His combined strengths in clinical dentistry and practice management support high-quality, efficient, and compliant patient care delivery.
