Dr. Daniel Linscott is a licensed clinical psychologist and Qualified Medical Evaluator with experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, suicide risk evaluation, clinical consultation, and graduate education. His clinical interests include Mentalization-Based Therapy, severe mental illness, immigration evaluations, institutional settings, community mental health, and individual and group therapy.
Since 2015, Dr. Linscott has served as Primary Clinician with Angeles Crest Psychological Services, Inc. He provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy, leads wellness groups and educational workshops, and consults with schools and church programs regarding parenting, stress management, coping, and childhood grief. His practice also includes immigration evaluations for U-Visa and hardship cases, with particular experience serving adolescents, parents, and individuals with severe mental illness.
Since 2024, Dr. Linscott has served as Program Consultant and Clinical Lead for SAFER, Oregon’s state-funded Screening and Action for Early Risk suicide prevention pilot program. He supports development and implementation of universal school-based screening, oversees evidence-based suicide, depression, and anxiety assessments, and provides same-day risk assessment, safety planning, referral coordination, and continuity-of-care support. He also contributes to research and program evaluation planning, including longitudinal outcome tracking.
Dr. Linscott previously treated individuals with severe mental illness at Psychological Care & Healing in Pasadena (2016–2024) and at Las Encinas Hospital (2019–2021). His supervised clinical training included an advanced postdoctoral fellowship at Patton State Hospital, where he provided therapy and psychological assessment for criminally mentally ill patients, including evaluations involving malingering, competency, cognitive functioning, personality, and treatment recommendations.
Dr. Linscott earned his Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He also holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller and a Bachelor of Arts and Science from William Jessup University. Since 2026, he has served as adjunct faculty at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, teaching Law and Ethics in Professional Psychology and Case Presentation.
