Dr. Emmanuel F. Magalong is a board-certified general dentist licensed in California since 2001. He brings over 23 years of clinical experience delivering comprehensive dental care across a diverse patient population. Dr. Magalong earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines in 1991. After relocating to the U.S., he completed the Professional Program for International Dentists at UCLA School of Dentistry in 2001.
Dr. Magalong began his U.S. dental career at Bright Now Dental in Los Angeles (2001–2004), followed by general dentist positions at Smile Care Dental (2004–2005) and Garvey Dental Office in West Covina (2005–2018). In these roles, he developed extensive clinical proficiency in general dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Since 2018, Dr. Magalong has served as the Managing Dentist at Super Dental Office in Walnut, California, where he provides comprehensive care for patients across all age groups. His clinical scope includes second molar root canals, surgical extractions, crowns and bridges, veneers, dentures, periodontal surgeries, implant placement and restoration, cosmetic fillings, orthodontics (Tip Edge technique and clear aligners), TMJ treatment with Botox, and sleep apnea oral appliances. He also manages all clinical and administrative operations of the practice and utilizes digital workflow systems.
Dr. Magalong currently holds two additional concurrent roles. Since 2020, he has been a Clinical Screening Dentist for the DHCS Denti-Cal Program, conducting prosthetic and operative screenings, complaint evaluations, and treatment plan reviews for Medi-Cal members. Since 2022, he has served as Chief Dentist for Comprehensive Mobile Care, overseeing dental policy, clinical operations, and staff performance within a mobile dental services model.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and UCLA Alumni Association. Dr. Magalong has pursued advanced training in digital implantology (Harvard School of Dental Medicine), Tip-Edge orthodontics, and Botox and dermal filler administration. He completed a live implant placement and restoration course through Bicon Dental Implants in 2024.
