Dr. Akinyemi is a double-board-certified, fellowship-trained physiatrist who is certified in Brain Injury Medicine as well as in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, and the American College of Physicians. 

She has years of extensive experience and expertise in diagnosis and treatment of injuries and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal, orthopedic and neurological systems. She is meticulous in her approach and works diligently to determine accurate diagnosis and develops individualized treatment plans using safe, effective, evidence-based medical management focused on improving patients’ function and their quality of life. 

Dr. Akinyemi also has extensive years of experience in disability and impairment evaluation including evaluations for injured workers and wounded military Veterans.  With great attention to details, and commitment to excellence, she consistently renders timely impartial professional medical opinion.
