Dr. Forbes earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Azusa Pacific University in 2004. She did her pre-doctorate internship at Children’s Institute in Los Angeles with an emphasis on the assessment of children with behavioral problems and/or cognitive disabilities. She did her post-doctorate internship at the VA Ambulatory Care Center in Los Angeles, CA with an emphasis on the assessment of personality disorders. She currently works with patients with trauma histories who are on LPS Conservatorships at Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, CA.
