Dr. Ghazaleh Bahrami is a board-certified internist and accomplished clinical researcher with extensive experience in pulmonary, cardiovascular, infectious disease, neuroscience, oncology, and obesity studies. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree, cum laude, from Ross University School of Medicine (2007) and completed her internal medicine training at the Medical College of Wisconsin (2011). She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, cum laude (2003). Dr. Bahrami is licensed in multiple U.S. states, including California, Michigan, and federally with the DEA, and maintains advanced certifications in ACLS, BLS, anti-aging medicine, clinical trial design, and medical monitoring.

Currently serving as Principal Investigator at Trialmed (formerly Synexus, PPD, AES, Optimal, and Radiant) in Cerritos, California, Dr. Bahrami oversees the design and execution of numerous multi-center clinical trials. Her research encompasses pulmonary disorders, including sarcoidosis and asthma; infectious diseases, including COVID-19, RSV, influenza, and Chikungunya; neuroscience studies in schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder; cardiovascular and obesity interventions; and oncology clinical trials. She ensures strict compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA, and ICH regulations, supervising study personnel, monitoring safety, and overseeing pharmacovigilance and adverse event reporting.

Dr. Bahrami’s clinical experience spans telemedicine, hospitalist medicine, urgent care, assisted living, and home visits. She has provided care in diverse settings, including inner-city hospitals, rural critical-access facilities, and specialty units, managing complex medical cases and overseeing patient-centered care. Her telemedicine work includes mental health management for depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as COVID-19 evaluations and general medicine.

She has presented her research at prestigious national and international forums, including the Society of General Internal Medicine Annual Meeting, the International Association for Study of Lung Cancer, and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Dr. Bahrami is fluent in English and Farsi and proficient in multiple electronic health record systems, including Cerner, Epic, and Meditech. Her expertise includes chronic disease management, preventive care, vaccine trials, and patient-reported outcome measures such as PHQ-8, MMSE, and HR-QoL assessments.
