Dr. Harmanjot K. Gill is a hospitalist with several years of experience in inpatient medicine, advanced heart failure care, academic medicine, quality improvement, and clinical research. Dr. Gill earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of Lublin in Poland in July 2014 and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, from July 2017 through June 2020, which also involved external rotations experience at John Hopkins University in Maryland, Baltimore and Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California. She also completed advanced education in AI in Health care at Harvard Medical School from December 2025 through February 2026. 

Currently, Dr. Gill serves as a Physician Hospitalist at Santa Clara Valley Regional Medical Center in San Jose, California, a position she has held since May 2025, and at Washington Hospital in Fremont, California, since April 2026. She also practices as an Urgent Care Physician with Sutter Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Mountain View and Los Gatos, California, and has served as a Collaborative Physician with Midi Health since April 2026, supporting the advancement of women’s health. Dr. Gill is an active member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and has served on its editorial board since April 2026.

From July 2021 through December 2024, Dr. Gill served at the University of California, San Francisco as an Academic Hospitalist, Assistant Clinical Professor, and Advanced Heart Failure Hospitalist. Prior roles include Staff Physician at El Camino Hospital, San Ramon Medical Center, Kentfield Hospital, and Las Palmas Medical Center between December 2020 and June 2021. She also worked as a Locums provider at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, New York in the year of 2025.

Dr. Gill’s research and quality improvement experience includes participation in a chronic myocarditis project at the Moslehi Lab for Cardio-Oncology and Immunology at UCSF from July 2023 through December 2024. Dr. Gill also completed the UCSF Value Innovation Teaching and Leadership professional development program and has participated in numerous quality improvement initiatives locally and nationally. Scholarly work includes case reports and presentations involving critical care, cardiology, and internal medicine topics. Dr. Gill is affiliated with the American Medical Women’s Association, American College of Physicians, Society of Hospital Medicine, and American Medical Association.
