Dr. Hewa Artin is a board-certified psychiatrist and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA. His clinical and academic work centers on neuromodulation, psychedelics, and emerging treatments for complex neuropsychiatric conditions.
He has trained extensively in interventional psychiatry techniques, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), and ketamine. He completed a fellowship in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center and has received additional training in psilocybin-assisted therapy. He has also published on emerging psychiatric treatments and presented his work at national conferences.
