Dr. Hewa Artin is a board-certified psychiatrist who has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA. He specializes in neuromodulation, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and the development of advanced treatments for complex neuropsychiatric conditions. In addition to his academic and clinical roles, Dr. Artin consults with healthcare companies and organizations on the implementation and development of novel psychiatric interventions.
Dr. Artin has received extensive training in neuromodulation techniques, including transcranial magnetic stimulation, magnetic peripheral nerve stimulation, and scrambler therapy. He has contributed to the implementation and development of clinical protocols within UCLA’s Neuromodulation Division. He also completed a fellowship in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center and has advanced training in psychedelic-assisted therapy, including work with ketamine and psilocybin. His publications include peer-reviewed articles in the fields of neuromodulation and psychedelic medicine.
