Hungchiao L. Wu, D.C., Q.M.E., is a board-certified chiropractor in California. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley with a major in Physical Sciences and a minor in Education, and received her doctor’s degree in Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles. Dr. Wu developed her interest in work-related injuries during her internships at Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles and Southern California University of Health Sciences; she was involved in treating and managing patients with neuroskeletal conditions due to various types of causes, including degenerative conditions, repetitive stress injuries, slip and fall accidents, etc. After she graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles, she worked at several private practices in which she furthered her knowledge and experiences in personal injuries and work-related injuries.
Dr. Wu is a lifetime member of the International Chiropractic Association of California. In 2014, she attended her first post-graduate certification program in Industrial Injury Evaluation, hosted by the International Chiropractic Association of California. The certification program set the foundation and deepened Dr. Wu’s interests in the field of Workers’ Compensation. In 2015, Dr. Wu became a qualified medical examiner, certified by the Division of Workers’ Compensation – Medical Unit to examine injured workers to evaluate disability and write medical-legal reports.
Dr. Wu has dedicated her career to building her specialty to assess and treat neuromuscular conditions. Currently, Dr. Wu practices in Anaheim, California, where she specializes in personal injuries and work-related injuries. Dr. Wu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese Chinese, which is an invaluable asset to Chinese-speaking patients. With her cultural understanding and sensitivity, Dr. Wu is able to help facilitate effective interactions with Chinese-speaking patients. Dr. Wu strives to use her valuable and extensive training, work experiences, and cultural background to dedicate herself to providing the most objective, accurate, and thorough neuromuscular evaluations possible.
