Dr. Jason Homan, DPM, DABPM, FACPM is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon based in Southern California with extensive expertise in foot and ankle care, wound management, and limb salvage. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association.
Dr. Homan received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine, where he held leadership roles including President of the Student National Podiatric Medical Association and Secretary of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management student division. He completed his surgical residency at the VA San Francisco, serving as Chief Resident in his final year, and trained across several prestigious institutions including UCSF’s Center for Limb Preservation and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital’s Orthopedic Trauma Institute.
Currently, Dr. Homan is the Medical Director of Podiatry at Family Medical Center in North Hollywood and practices at Family Foot & Ankle Center in Upland. He also provides care to underserved populations at Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles and formerly served as Podiatry Section Chair at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center.
Dr. Homan specializes in non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments for musculoskeletal and chronic foot/ankle pain, including custom orthotics, PRP, amniotic injections, and biomechanical therapy. He has managed surgical centers, led multi-specialty teams, and championed holistic approaches to foot and ankle care. His practice includes advanced wound care and limb salvage interventions using bioengineered cellular therapies and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
An advocate for public health and education, Dr. Homan has served on the Podiatric Medicine Education Advisory Committee and has delivered presentations at UCSF Grand Rounds and CSPM symposiums. In 2025, he was recognized among California’s Top Podiatrists by Best of California Magazine.
