Kenneth B. Spears, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized experience in trauma-informed care, adolescent mental health, and forensic psychology. He currently serves as Center Mental Health Consultant at Los Angeles Job Corps, where he leads a multidisciplinary team supporting young adults in vocational training. After years of experience in both clinical treatment and psychological assessment, Dr. Spears founded Wellness Our Way Psychological Services, which provides psychological treatment and testing tailored to the needs of each child, adult and family.
Over the past decade, Dr. Spears has provided psychological services across correctional settings, community health organizations, and educational institutions. He has conducted forensic evaluations for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and developed culturally responsive interventions while working within the California Department of Juvenile Justice. His expertise in risk assessment, psychological testing, and systems-level consultation positions him as a trusted evaluator and advocate for ethical, evidence-based decision-making in legal contexts.
Dr. Spears holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Southern University and A&M College. He continues to mentor clinicians as a clinical supervisor and educator.
