Mark Miculian, M.B.A., PhD., Q.M.E., received his B.A. in psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. He also earned a Masters in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. He completed his APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in Fresno, California. He has taught graduate classes in forensic psychology at Alliant University and has presented at the California Psychological Association. He has trained psychologists in the areas of Mentally Disordered Offender and Sexually Violent Predator evaluations.
For more than 20 years, Dr. Miculian has conducted over 2,200 violent risk assessment evaluations on sex offenders and individuals with serious mental disorders. He has evaluated and/or provided expert testimony for cases such as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, Trial Competency, Sexually Violent Predators, Mentally Disordered Offenders, Death Penalty Mitigation, Veterans Pension and Compensation, and State Pre-employment for Peace Officers. He has testified as an expert witness in 17 Superior Courts throughout California. Dr. Miculian has served as an alienist for Fresno County’s Superior Court, an independent evaluator for the Department of State Hospitals, and a senior psychologist at the world’s largest women’s prison.
