Dr. Mary Kaiser-Cole is a Qualified Medical Evaluator (Q.M.E.) and experienced Doctor of Chiropractic with more than 30 years of clinical practice, patient care, and clinic leadership in Southern California. She has been licensed as a Doctor of Chiropractic in California since 1994 and has extensive experience in musculoskeletal assessment, diagnostic reasoning, orthopedic and neurological evaluation, impairment assessment, and thorough medico-legal documentation.
Her evaluation approach emphasizes detailed history taking, objective examination findings, functional assessment, and clear, evidence-based reporting consistent with California workers’ compensation and medico-legal standards. Dr. Kaiser-Cole is recognized for her compassionate, detail-oriented approach while maintaining professionalism, objectivity, and high standards of documentation.
Since January 1994, Dr. Kaiser-Cole has served as Owner and Doctor of Chiropractic at Back In Balance Health Center in Montrose, California, where she founded and developed a multidisciplinary wellness clinic serving the local community for more than three decades. In this role, she performs comprehensive patient evaluations including history, physical examination, orthopedic and neurological testing, diagnostic imaging review, and treatment planning for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, extremity injuries, and complex spine disorders. She also oversees clinic operations, staff leadership, financial management, and patient education initiatives while maintaining documentation standards consistent with continuity of care and medico-legal reporting requirements.
In April 2019, Dr. Kaiser-Cole began serving as Lead Doctor of Chiropractic at The Joint Chiropractic in North Hollywood, California. She provides evidence-based chiropractic care, comprehensive patient evaluations, treatment planning, and patient education while supporting continuity of care and clinical compliance. During the clinic’s opening year, she helped lead the site to achieve Gold Standard status through excellence in patient care, documentation, and clinical operations.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Kaiser-Cole has extensive experience working with personal injury and workers’ compensation patients and is experienced in reviewing medical records, correlating clinical findings with diagnostic imaging, assessing functional limitations, and preparing detailed documentation to support patient care and medico-legal evaluation.
Dr. Kaiser-Cole earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, California in 1993. She also completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1992 and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at California State University, Los Angeles in 1987.
