Radhika Prabhakar is an internal medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care and medical education who has dedicated her career to enhancing primary care physician wellness, improving patient outcomes and promoting comprehensive healthcare delivery.
After earning her medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in 2013, Radhika entered residency training in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA, where she developed a deep commitment to mentoring and training future physicians. After finishing residency in 2016 she began working in primary care at Keck Medical Center at USC, providing both direct patient care and resident supervision. Her interest in the logistics of healthcare led her to pursue a Masters in Health Administration, equipping her with invaluable skills in healthcare management and policy.
In 2024, Radhika relocated to Georgia to be closer to her family and accepted a position as outpatient core faculty for the Internal Medicine residency program at Northeast Georgia Health System. She continues to enjoy training a new generation of physicians while making regular trips back to California.
Throughout her career, Radhika has held leadership roles in various healthcare organizations, advocating tirelessly for the advancement of primary care services. She is a strong advocate for patient-centered care and has implemented innovative strategies to improve healthcare quality and access.
