Currently practicing in California, Dr. Khodaverdian brings expertise in advanced cardiothoracic surgery, thoracic organ transplants, and vascular cosmetic procedures. Dr. Khodaverdian earned his Doctor of Medicine from Tehran University in 1994, followed by a general surgery residency at Tehran University and advanced surgical fellowships in cardiothoracic surgery at Shahid Beheshti University and LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also completed a research fellowship at the Utah Artificial Heart Program and a clinical fellowship in cancer surgery at the Iran Cancer Institute.
