Dr. Richard Gabel is a psychiatrist, licensed in New York State, who has been in private practice since 1980. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University School of Medicine. 

He has had widely varied professional experience and has held leadership administrative position is major hospitals in the New York City metropolitan region. 

Having received his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine, he completed his residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital, one of the Harvard Medical School flagship hospitals,
