Ritu Goel, MD

Dr. Ritu Goel is an accomplished, board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and

adult psychiatry, with over a decade of experience in developmental disabilities, autism spectrum

disorders, and integrative mental health. She combines clinical expertise with leadership in clinical trials,

regulatory compliance, and strategic oversight of multidisciplinary initiatives and innovations in mental

health.

Dr. Goel has served as a Principal Investigator and sub-investigator on multiple FDA-regulated studies

and currently chairs Data Monitoring Committees for pediatric pharmaceutical trials. She also advises

behavioral health and wellness startups on mental health innovation and compliance.

She earned her medical degree from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University in India. She completed her

psychiatric training at University College London and the University at Buffalo School of Medicine,

where she also served as Chief Resident in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has additional

certifications in Integrative Psychiatry and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from MIT.

Dr. Goel’s clinical roles have ranged from faculty positions at Johns Hopkins University and Kennedy

Krieger Institute to psychiatric practice at Kaiser Permanente and private practice settings. She is

recognized for her dedication to advancing mental health care through education, research, and

leadership. She has taught and mentored psychiatry residents and medical students extensively and

frequently speaks at conferences and professional forums on topics including autism, developmental

disabilities, and the integration of AI in mental health.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Goel has held numerous leadership roles, including Chair of Data

Monitoring Committees for pharmaceutical research and strategic advisor roles for health-tech wellness

initiatives. She also directs a nonprofit focused on improving child literacy.

Dr. Goel is board-certified in both General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, licensed in

California, and an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry,

American Psychiatric Association, and Forbes Business Council.
