Sayuj Paudel, MD, FACP

Dr. Sayuj Paudel is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a distinguished record in both inpatient and outpatient care, hospice leadership, and community health. A graduate of Kathmandu University, Nepal, he earned his MBBS in 2007 as valedictorian, with distinctions in medicine, surgery, pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, and several other core disciplines. He then completed a three-year internal medicine residency at Danbury Hospital, CT (2009–2012), graduating in June 2012 while serving as a primary care physician in the Seifort and Ford Clinic.

Currently, Dr. Paudel practices as a Primary Care Physician at El Camino Health (2025–Present), where he manages chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, CKD, CAD, and CHF, and provides annual physicals, Medicare wellness visits, and post-acute care. He also serves as Medical Director at Bridge Hospice Central Coast (2020–Present), offering leadership and oversight in interdisciplinary hospice care.

From 2019 to 2024, he was a full-time primary care physician at Primary Care Associates of Hollister, serving rural and underserved communities while also affiliated with Hazel Hawkins Hospital. Concurrently, he worked as a Hospitalist at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital (2020–2025), managing acute inpatient cases including stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, COVID-19, and perioperative care. He also served Santa Clara County as a Contact Tracing Clinician (2020–2022) during the pandemic.

Previously, Dr. Paudel was a Hospitalist at Melrose Wakefield Healthcare (2012–2019) and Beverly Hospital/Lahey Hospital (2014–2019), where he was active in ICU care, quality improvement, teaching, and mentorship. His early medical career began in Nepal, including as a Primary Care Physician at Jansewa Polyclinic (2007–2009).

Dr. Paudel is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (2017) and Society of Hospital Medicine (2024), and a member of the AAHPM and AMA. He is California licensed (C162667) and ECFMG, FCVS, ACLS, DEA, and NPI certified.

He is proficient in multiple EMRs and speaks English, Nepali, Hindi, and basic Spanish. A U.S. citizen originally from Nepal, Dr. Paudel is actively involved in multiple community activities around Morgan Hill.
