Vlad Gendelman, M.D., received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Southern California and his Doctor of Medicine degree from University of California at Irvine. Dr. Gendelman went on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. During his time in Brooklyn, he served as a team physician of Sheepshead Bay High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Football Teams.
Dr. Gendelman is licensed to practice medicine in state of California, and is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Gendelman holds membership in various professional organizations, including the Los Angeles County Medical Association, the California Medical Association, California Orthopaedic Association, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Gendelman has completed extensive research and is a published author, contributing his expertise to the field of Orthopaedic Surgery.
His passion for serving his community and seeing the world have taken Dr. Gendelman from Los Angeles, where he was the official team physician of the LA Blues SC, to the Philippines, where he worked as a volunteer surgeon in impoverished communities. The prolific research work he has done over the course of his career (much of which was conducted at such prestigious organizations as the Arthritis Institute) has made it easy for Dr. Gendelman to maintain a cutting-edge knowledge of medicine and technology.
Dr. Gendelman is fluent in English and Russian.
