Dr. Wendy Staples Hicks, B.S., D.C., Q.M.E. is board certified chiropractor and qualified medical examiner practicing in Northern California. She earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in 2014. Prior to that she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from Sonoma State University in 2010. She opened her private practice in Petaluma, California shortly after chiropractic school and has served her community since then.
Dr. Hicks built her practice based on family and sports wellness and she currently works with individuals and families of all ages. Her sports background and interest in pediatrics lead her to develop a focus in treating pregnant mothers as well as artistic, performance, and aerial arts athletes. In 2022 her passion for working with these populations prompted her to open a non-profit sports and wellness studio.
Dr. Hicks’ interests expanded to industrial injuries and occupational healthcare after seeing numerous family members, friends, and chiropractic patients suffer injuries while at work. She quickly became aware of the importance of qualified and impartial yet compassionate professionals working within this field. Dr. Hicks has since expanded her practice to include this population as both a certified and qualified medical examiner.
