Nicholas Bullo, DC, CCSP, QME

Dr. Nicholas Bullo is a Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) with a focus on sports chiropractic and performance-based care. He works with athletes and active individuals using a structured, exam-driven approach that emphasizes proper history-taking, vital signs, neurological and orthopedic examinations, and individualized treatment planning. Dr. Bullo also holds Functional Movement Screen (FMS) training and is certified in CPR and AED through the National CPR Foundation (Infant–Child–Adult).

Dr. Bullo earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences (September 2020–December 2023). He completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Long Beach, earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Fitness (August 2014–May 2019). His academic and clinical foundation supports a care model that integrates movement assessment and fitness principles within chiropractic practice.

In December 2024, Dr. Bullo became Owner/Head Chiropractor at Sidekick Chiropractic (December 2024–present), where he manages and operates a sports chiropractic clinic providing performance-based care to help athletes recover and perform at their best. Prior to this role, he served as an Associate Chiropractor at ROM Chiropractic (March 2024–December 2024), where he demonstrated the ability to take proper history and vitals, perform neurological and orthopedic examinations, and execute appropriate treatment for athletes and the general population. He also worked as an Associate Chiropractor at Cedar Pointe Chiropractic (December 2024–November 2025), providing chiropractic care for personal injury populations.

During chiropractic school, Dr. Bullo completed multiple internships. He trained as a Chiropractic Intern at SCUHS Tactical Sports Medicine (September 2022–August 2023), learning under experts in the sports medicine field and providing care for tactical athletes and chiropractic students. He was also a Chiropractic Intern at CSULA Health Clinic (January 2023–December 2023), diagnosing and treating Cal State LA students and faculty, and a Chiropractic Intern at Evolve Chiropractic San Diego (January 2023–December 2023), facilitating care for high-level sport athletes while assisting with note taking and business-side support.

Before entering chiropractic practice, Dr. Bullo worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at Beach Cities Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (January 2016–April 2020) and gained additional experience in screening and performance programming through an FMS Health and Safety internship and work as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the CSULB Women’s Row Team (January 2019–May 2019).
